Línea de Investigación:
Plasticidad Sináptica y Epileptogénesis. Con técnicas electrofisiológicas, inmunocitoquímicas y de biología molecular estudiamos la expresión del fenotipo dual glutamatérgico / GABAérgico en las células granulares del hipocampo. Nosotros descubrimos que estas células expresan todos los marcadores de ambos fenotipos y la expresión del fenotipo GABAérgico está regulada por el desarrollo y, en el adulto, de manera dependiente de actividad, especialmente por crisis convulsivas.
